    • Can use any transport
    • Use xml formatting
    • Uses wsdl contracts
      • Overloads the POST verb
    • Usually need a toolset
    • Can use intermediaries
    • Extensibility through WS-specification
    • No clear cashing mechanism
    • SSL security
  • Both already successful but it might be better together
